Air Doge Land is the state-owned flag carrier airline of Doge Land.

The airline was founded in 1960 to fly routes in Doge Land where it would not be practical to drive by car. During the Doge Landian debt crisis of 1998, the airline's international operations were temporarily halted until the nation could get itself back on track in 2000.

Air Doge Land is 98% owned by the government of Doge Land, with the other 2% being owned by stockholders on the public market. It is based in the capital city of Doge Land City. Its headquarters are in the Doge Land Tower and its primary hubs are Doge Land City International Airport, Bepono-Lasell International Airport, and Bork-Shibeton International Airport.

History

The airline was established in 1960, and commenced operations shortly after in July of that year.

In 1998, during the Doge Landian debt crisis, the government could not afford the upkeep of the large airliners required for profitable international flights, so all of the airline's international flights were temporarily suspended. While some international flights were picked up by Air Doge Land's Mountaintonian counterpart Mountainton Airlines, most flights were covered by airlines from other countries or simply never got replaced. In 2000, the board of directors for Air Doge Land reevaluated the international flights before continuing them. Most international flights were continued, however some non-profitable ones were removed and still do not run to this day.
