History

Prehistory

Not much is known of Spiras's prehistory, but one thing that is known is the antiquity colonization of Spiras by the Tolosan Republic. The colonial city of Spirosia would end up being founded around this time by Tolosan merchants and colonists. Later, the rest of the Spira peninsula would also eventually end up being colonized. In 117 CE, the term Spiras is coined, the term would end up becoming the name of the colony.

In 427 CE, the Tolosan Republic would fall to proto-ezevulgish tribes, isolating the colony from the mainland. In 430 CE, the Spirasian Republic would be founded becoming a Tolosan spinoff, continuing to trade with the ancient Myrians and other Mediterranean cultures. The republic would prosper until 1305 with the invasion of Spiras.
