Kahaʻi (/kəˈhɑːʔi/); Kahaʻian pronunciation: [kaˈhaʔi]), officially the Independent State of Kahaʻi (Kahaʻian: Aupuni Kūʻokoʻa o Kahaʻi) and sometimes historically known as the Monpiterre Islands, is an island country located in the South Pacific, in the center of the Rainbow Islands. Its nearest neighbors are FiHami to the west and Royaltican Polynesia to the east. Kahaʻi consists of three main islands, Kahaʻinui, ʻOpeha, and Moʻoloa, two smaller inhabited islands, Kahaʻiki and Laʻiewai, and several small uninhabited islands and reefs.
