Jamie MacDonald is a Lile Ulian professional surfer hailing from Pu'u, going all the way to being described as, "one of the best surfers of all time." MacDonald is known for his explosive tricks, and his pristine turns, which has led him to receiving 15 athletic medals, including seven gold ones. MacDonald starting surfing at the age of six, and would spend some of his afternoons watching the waves on shore to analyze them, study them, and see how he'd ride them. MacDonald's talent was discovered by surfing coach Raul Pimiento while surfing in Pu'u at age 12. He later participated in the Pacifica Junior Olympics, where he won a silver medal. MacDonald has been very active in the non-profit community, especially in education, the environment, and surf therapy. He's start multiple organizations committed to making Pacifica a better world.
