Inetez (Kretti: Инетëҙ; Austral: No-Somewhere-Thesis) is a country located in Cordilia, home to The End Temple, Mausoleum of Prophecy, Blind Prophet Valley and various other holy sites including supposedly the Mutlaqun or "Absolute Birth" itself. The preservation of these, to some religiously significant to others architecturally ingenious, locations occurs as a cultural tradition. Namely, every "third generation" is supposed to reconstruct and renovate publicly significant structures if erosion is noticed or damage done to them. Furthermore, it's home to "interesting" Dervish Orders, most stretching their roots for at least 400 years continuously.

Only archeological guesswork and fearmongering legends are known of Inetez before the emergence or conversion by the Mutlaqun. The early Adiluhquni Caliphate was one of the earliest "conquer & convert" empires in Pacifica, a practice which the dynasty would continue well until 1498. A period of reformation was undertaken by Caliph Ardahn after defeating his two pretending siblings and securing the inheritance. Ardahni Reformation involved diversifying the conquest culture by creating Landed Generals which provided enough breathing room for people of merit to undertake professions unrelated to war. First among many consequences was the simultaneous appearance of both a "Feud" and a "Merchant" classes, connecting their high status to the rural and the urban, respectively. Traces of this division can be seen in suffixes for administrative/civilian federal units within Inetez: each "Vahlayet" Province contains in itself either a "-tukum" or a "-prak", usually suggesting either rural or urban settlement. Creation of the aforementioned "Landed Generals" would lead to military reforms in 1571., where "The Imperial Guard" was formed. Overall, ruling a vast empire from 1027. to 1684., the Dynasty of House Adiluhqun was among the most successful in the known world.

Today, Inetez declares itself a "Directorate", classifying as an Islamic democracy. This is likely due to introduction of "Law of The State" in 1947., separating civilian governance (further divided between the Ulema or scholarly chosen Head of State and the directly voted in Head of Government) and the Grand Mughba judicial. Its' main industries include Textile, Tobacco, Furniture and Gambling, having a monopoly on the continent in the subsection of slot machine production. Vast, grandiose casinos paired with millennia-old geometrically-decorated architecture make it a tourist destination, though Tourism isn't traditionally included when calculating statistics "because it's unreliable".

Inetez has been considered a great power since the early Adiluhquni Caliphate, though for vastly different reasons ranging from conquest to modern-day cultural and economic influence. Its' status only fell to that of a regional power during the first half of the 20th century, as the Republics' countless wars were unsustainable. Luckily, neutrality during the Great War and post-1947 reforms stabilized Inetez again; Contemporarily considered either a great power or a superpower, though this arbitrary division namely comes from its' conservative policies which can be seen as either controversial or virtuous respectively.

Government

Universal suffrage & closed ballot voting were introduced upon electing the Diyan Vezier (Head of Government) after 1947. in the adopted "Law of The State" within this policy was justified by calling upon "The Shura". The elected Diyan or (closest trans.) "Direction" subsequently chooses his own Grand Portes among the Divan Porte, limited to: Grand Porte of Finances (established 1121 A.D.), Grand Porte of Military, Grand Porte of Law and Grand Porte of External Affairs. Selected Grand Porta then ping back the Divan Porte and employ each "advisor" (MP) to work within one of the four Grand Porti (Ministries). "Law of The State" uses the GP of Law and the GP of External Affairs to relegate matters of civil law, police forces, foreign policies and notably "international contract law" from the religious justices.

Head of State, despite carrying the name of Murshid Maslaha (Guide of Public Interest) is a ceremonial figure elected by the most adequate religious scholars organized within the "Ulema" which by itself is not a permanent government office but a collective of University Directorates. Although Murshid Maslaha is, by "Law of The State" supposed to represent Inetez during international affairs, a common practice has been established that they are better handled by the GP-External Affairs appointee of "Messengers" (Ambassadors).

The government has a two-layered federal structure. "Vahlayet" (Province) is ruled as a civil entity by the elected Aghatep but is ruled as a judicial entity by the Grand Mugha. The Vahlayets are further divided between "Tukum" (rural) or "Prak" (urban); which are again coadministered by the Kaditep (civil) - Mugha (judicial) and the Akhan (civil) - Faqwy (judicial), respectively.

Diyan Vezier is elected for a term of 5 years, with the ability for one person to be reelected once for a maximum of 2 terms of 10 years per life. Grand Portes are not subject to a reappointment limit. However, the Divan Porte as a whole is subject to reelection every 2.5 years, as it is constituted of the preceding Kaditep and Akhan of each Tukum and Prak. The local elections for Tukum and Prak thus occur every 2.5 years. The Aghatep of the Vahlayet of which both the Tukum and Prak are part of is elected by by popular vote within the Vahlayet every 7.5 years.

Economy

Evolution of the Inetezi economy from pillage-based in 1027 through mercantile-manufacture & agriculture based in 1683 to todays' light industry & services were mainly a domino effect of international trends and domestic adaptation to them. Exceptionally are the 1489. Caliph Ardahn Reformation and 1859. Republican Tariff Acts; which can be described as centrally forced changes rather than naturally occurring ones. The latter period is exceptional on its' own for being the only time Inetez was focused primarily and only on both military & economy - though the results have shown that such an approach leads to failure or that it was enacted very poorly.

Textile Industries

It's estimated that the Spinning wheel was invented in the Caliphate period some time around the 13th century. This suggests that even before Ardahn Reformation, Inetez had a growing manufacturing class, the primary material worked on being linen. However, it wasn't until the industrial revolution and the Power loom introduction that the textile industry became vital to the macroeconomics of the country. Continuing the tradition of flax fiber and linen, a series of factories were constructed in 1844. focusing primarily on the production of semi-raw materials and finished products from both, ranging from "linen clothing" to banknotes. "Chataluane Corporation", based in Inetez and tracing its' origins to 1877., today specializes in this specific field both domestically and internationally. Worth an average estimation of $ 3.6 billion, it accounts for 1.5% of the entire global textile industry. Two companies would merge in 1911., one focusing on sericulture and the other on silk comforter production, to create a resource-recreate-reproduce silk chain called "Razvet United". It would rebrand itself by 1980s into "Hyrlic Inc.", noted mainly for its' luxury series of end-products. The worth shouldn't be based off of market speculation as the popularity of the brand inflates how much net profit it produces. Overall, it accounts for 4.8% of the global textile industry. Finally, The Marraki Brothers, who have inherited the trait from a small manufactory dating back to the 17th century, now specializes in luxurious end-product leatherwear. "The Marraki Brothers" name was kept and is probably the most recognizable clothing brand from Inetez. Its' estimated to account for 13.5% of the global textile industry alone. Together with smaller companies, the textile industries of Inetez hold about 27-31% take of the branch's global value.
