Human rights in Báraarde |
---|
Human rights in Báraarde are a topic of serious concern. They are considered to be one of, if not the worst in the world. There is virtually no freedom of the press or freedom of speech despite being protected by the Founding Documents. Media providers must be approved by the government, which has resulted in the majority of media providers in the nation being very supportive of the government. The only approved media provider in the nation that distributes vaguely anti-government positions is the Doge Landian-owned Joernaal Báraarde. There are approximately 200,000 prisoners incarcerated in camps across the nation, who are subject to forced labor, government-sanctioned torture, and execution.
