Emergence of the Fortinians

The Fortinians are said to have emerged around 26,000 standard years ago on X in the X system. They started space exploration about 14,000 standard years ago and established their first planetary colony on X about 3,000 standard years after their first spatial launch.

First interplanetary colonization

About 1,000 standard years before discovering faster-than-light technology, the Fortinians were able to settle on X in the X system about X light-years away from their home planet, a journey that took just under X years, which was made possible with their antimatter engines and their genetically extended lifespans.

Discovery of the Quantum Drive

The discovery of the Quantum Drive allowed the Fortinians to speed up their colonization of space. This allowed the Fortinians to rapidly extended their territory faster than ever before.

First interplanetary meetings

With more and more divergent subraces of Fortinians and the self-governance gained by the newly colonized world led to the first interplanetary meetings with the Congress of X, also called the First Congress of the Fortinians about 3,700 standard years ago. This culminated with the Foundation of the Union for Interplanetary Diplomacy which sparked the discussions to unify the different worlds under a political union.
