Colony of Kosbare

The Colony of Kosbare was proclaimed by Pieter Van der Merwe in the name of the United Kingdom of Ouland in 1652 and remained a colony until 1842 when it was elevated to the Dominion of Kosbare.

Federal Union of Kosbareland

The Dominion of Kosbare ceased to exist in 1910 following the Act of Union which created the Federal Union of Kosbareland, it became fully sovereign in 1961. It replaced the monarchy by an elected State President. The monarch was represented by a Governor General which became the State President in 1961.

State Presidents of Kosbareland

The State President replaced the Governor General when Kosbareland proclaimed its independence from the United Kingdom of Ouland. It was an executive position as head of state and of government from 1984 to 1990, when the position of Prime Minister was abolished. Its mandate is of 7 years non renewable.
