The Chancellor of Valkyria is the head of government of Valkyria, the head of the Cabinet of Valkyria, the head of the Valkyrian Defence Council, and the foremost executive authority of the Valkyrian Defence Forces. While the chancellor is appointed by the president of Valkyria by convention, they are elected by instant-runoff voting among the members of the National Assembly, who is usually a member of the governing party or bloc.
