The Fortinian Confederacy (Fortinian: Confederation Fortinian, pronounced: [konfederat͡sjon fortiɲan]) is a confederation of XX constituent members. It's administrative center is located at the Centro Station in the Nevan system.

Name

The name comes from the most brilliant star in the confederacy, Fortinia which is located near the center of the territory within the Pinicola stellar cluster. It was also used as the basis for the name of the predecessor of the confederacy, the League of Fortinia.

History

Founded around 2,000 standard years ago the League of Fortinia was the first major interplanetary union but was also short-lived.
